Report: Food trucks safer than most restaurants

It's a feather in the hat for food truck lovers everywhere.

A public law interest firm in Virginia examined more than 2,000 food inspection reports from cities that require food trucks to follow the same guidelines as restaurants.

While food trucks may have a greasy reputation, the study found that, food trucks performed as good or better than their traditional restaurant counterparts.

Food trucks in Orlando and Orange County also require inspection the same way restaurants do.
