Amazon program gets rid of old boxes while donating to Goodwill

ORLANDO, Fla. – Amazon and Goodwill are helping you get rid of your old Amazon boxes while helping a good cause.

Amazon's platform called the Give Back Box allows Amazon customers to donate items they no longer need to Goodwill and clear their house of all their Amazon boxes.

Amazon's website explains the steps to the programs "as easy as 1, 2, 3." First, you unpack your Amazon box. Secondly, you fill your box with clothes, accessories and household items you no longer need and print your free shipping label at GiveBackBox.com. Third, have the U.S. Postal Service or UPS deliver your box of donations to Goodwill.

Donations go directly to your nearest Goodwill. Goodwill sells the donated goods and helps support the community by creating employment opportunities and job training.
