Sanford police search for two men after a police officer is injured.

SANFORD, Fla. - Sanford police on Friday released a photo of two men they say injured an officer by pinning him between two vehicles.

The incident occurred October 7 at the Barn at 1200 South French Avenue.

According to police, shortly after midnight officers approached a silver four-door Infiniti parked in the rear parking lot and spotted a passenger hand-rolling a marijuana cigar.  

Officers said they also observed two guns inside the vehicle in plain sight, according to police.  An officer attempted to remove one of the firearms, but the driver fled, pinning the officer between two vehicles, police said.

The officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
