Deputies said the robber went into the bank and walked up to the counter claiming that he wanted to make a withdrawal.
The clerk picked up a withdrawal slip to give to the robber, who produced a note demanding money and implied he had a handgun, deputies said. The clerk handed him cash from the register as the robber took the note with him and left the area.
The robber is described by the Sheriff's Office as a white male of average height, with an average build and blond hair. Deputies said he was last seen wearing a blue-and-white plaid shirt, black rimmed glasses and a red-and-black railroad hat.
Anyone who can identify the robbery suspect is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's Office or Crimeline.
