Showers roll through Central Florida coast

Temperatures remain high for this time of year

ORLANDO, Fla. - There have been a few showers rolling through Central Florida Wednesday, most of them have not amounted to much.

"Heading into the evening, the coastal shower will still be around," said Local 6 Chief Meteorologist Tom Sorrells. "So be on the lookout for a spotty shower, mostly right along the coast."

Temperatures are just above normal for this time of year. Wednesday night the sky will be partly cloudy and the low in Orlando will drop to 66 degrees.

Thursday we will still be warm, the high in Orlando will be right at 88 degrees. The rain set up will remain the same with rain chances holding at 20 percent.

The Halloween forecast:

  • Rain chance: 20 percent
  • Temperatures at 6 p.m. will be 82 degrees
  • 8 p.m.: 77degrees
  • 10 p.m.: 74 degrees

The next cold front is still set for Saturday with a better chance of rain and cooler temps for Sunday.
