Brevard residents can score discounted tickets to Kennedy Space Center

Residents asked to donate during Salute to Brevard promotion

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Brevard County residents will be eligible for discounted admissions to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex during the Salute to Brevard promotion beginning later this month, according to News 6 partner Florida Today.

Residents can purchase up to six tickets at the front desk – $15 for adults, $10 for children up to 11 – during the promotion that runs from Oct. 23 to Nov. 5.

Guests are encouraged to bring canned foods and other non-perishable items for donation to Brevard Sharing Centers, which will distribute them to residents who need supplies in the wake of Hurricane Irma, Florida Today reported.

In-demand supplies include canned goods; non-perishable items such as pasta, oatmeal or sauces; baby formula and food; and hygiene products.

Donations are not required to purchase the discounted tickets. Visitors should bring an ID to verify residency.
