Stolen dog found, returned to Titusville family

Yorkshire terrier found in Winter Haven

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A Yorkshire terrier stolen during a burglary in Titusville has been found safe, dozens of miles away from home.

Beanie was taken from the home of her owner, Courtney Mulligan, last Wednesday.

Police found the dog near I-4 in Winter Haven and has since been reunited with her owner.

Mulligan had put up flyers throughout Central Florida with details about Beanie and offered a $5,000 reward for her return.

Her owner believes publicity generated on local news and online helped lead to Beanie's safe return.

Deputies told News 6 partner Florida Today that the person who broke into Mulligan's home entered through a window and stole jewelry, flatware and pillow cases.
