Suspect crashes vehicle after carjacking in Orlando, police say

Occupants in other vehicle suffer minor injuries

ORLANDO, Fla. – A person was arrested after crashing a vehicle they carjacked Sunday in Orlando, police said.

Officials with the Orlando Police Department said the victim was carjacked at 6699 Semoran Boulevard.

The suspect, whom police did not identify, crashed into another vehicle at Michigan Street and Dixie Belle Drive.

Officials said the occupants of the struck vehicle were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
