A little boy’s smile and ability to overcome adversity has gone viral.

Videos of Roman Dinkel, 2, who has spina bifida, have racked up millions of views on Facebook, according to ABC News. One shows him taking his first steps alongside his dog, Maggie.

“Look, Maggie! I’m walking, Maggie!” he says.

The Dinkel family, which lives in Overland Park, Kansas, includes three children. Roman was diagnosed with spina bifida while in utero.

"Before he was born, we were told that there was a chance that he wouldn't be able to walk," Roman's dad, Adam Dinkel, told "Good Morning America." "[We were] scared, confused on why this was happening. And fear is really the big kicker, because you want all your children to have a wonderful life."

With the help of chiropractic and physical therapy, Roman was able to use a walker and then this week use his crutches on his own.

"He's a warrior," Adam Dinkel told ABC.
