Bomb squad searches Titusville store

TITUSVILLE, Fla. - A Target store in Titusville reopened Wednesday after being evacuated because of a bomb threat, police said.

The Target on State Road 405 near Cheney Highway was evacuated around 11 a.m.

According to Titusville police, a caller informed the manager that a bomb was in the store.

The manager evacuated the store and called police, who evacuated two other nearby businesses.

A bomb squad searched Target but did not locate anything suspicious, and the store was reopened, police said.

Sky 6 flew over the store around 1 p.m. and spotted customers entering and leaving the store.

The Titusville Police Department is following up on possible leads, and anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
