Vehicle carried at least 7,000 gallons of sewage

ORLANDO, Fla. – A truck overturned on Orange Blossom Trail on Monday evening, spilling thousands of gallons of raw sewage on the road, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.

Charges are pending against the driver, 54-year-old Glen Stuebs, of Kissimmee, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.

The truck tipped at 6:25 p.m. on Orange Blossom Trail near SR 414, in Orange County. Orange Blossom Trail was closed in both directions at the intersection.

Stuebs suffered minor injuries in the crash, and was taken to a hospital. He was stuck in the truck following the wreck, police said.

Stuebs was heading east on SR 414 on the exit ramp to Orange Blossom Trail when he tried to make a right turn to travel south on OBT, police said. As he made the turn, the truck tipped. The crash remains under investigation.

The truck can carry up to 7,000 gallons, and Fire Rescue estimated about half the load spilled.
