Police arrested the pair in Volusia County Tuesday. They are being held in the Volusia County Jail without bond.

The victim, whom police have not identified, was found in a neighbor's driveway bleeding with severe injuries, according to police.

"He's holding on," said Deputy Chief Donna Seyferth with Rockledge Police Department. "He's somebody with a will to live."

Seyferth said police don't know what motivated the suspects.

Soon after the stabbing, Ramsey drove to the Cocoa Police Department to report the incident.

Seyferth said detectives later discovered that she and Nunez had planned to kill the man.

"We were able to finally speak with the victim, and his story and their story didn't match," Seyferth added. "Between interviews and evidence, we know it's premeditated."

Police couldn't indicate the man's condition or describe the severity of his injuries.
