1 dead, 1 injured in early-morning shooting in Orlando, deputies say

2 men found with gunshot wounds

ORLANDO, Fla. – One man is dead and another man is wounded after a shooting in Orlando early Sunday, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies responded to a shooting on South Orange Blossom Trail near Holden Avenue shortly after 3:53 a.m.

Deputies said they found two men, ages 32 and 33, with gunshot wounds.

Both men were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center by Orange County Fire Rescue.

One man, identified as Christian Francisco Santiago, 32, died later at the hospital. The other man remains at the hospital in stable condition.

The OCSO is still investigating.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS. Crimeline said it is offering a reward up to $5,000.
