ORLANDO, Fla. – Classes that begin at 4 p.m. or later will be canceled at all UCF campuses on Monday because of the heavy wind and rain expected from Tropical Storm Colin.
All classes that are in progress until 4 p.m. will be held only until that time.

Campus operations at all locations will also come to an end at 4 p.m., including all scheduled orientation activities. Student shuttles will remain running on their normal schedules until 6 p.m.
Any essential employees who are scheduled to work at 3:30 p.m. should still report to work and be prepared to ride out the anticipated storm. If employees have questions, they should contact their supervisors.

Seminole State College will also be cancel evening classes and operations at all campuses beginning at 5 p.m. For more information on Seminole State College and its closure, visit Seminole State's website or call the emergency hotline at 407-708-2290.
Meanwhile, Nova Southeastern University Orlando Campus, as well as the Tampa and Jacksonville campuses, closed Monday at 4 p.m. due to Tropical Storm Colin.
