ORLANDO, Fla. - For the past year, Universal Studios has been a construction zone and after already opening Transformers, they revealed another expansion on Friday: The Simpsons Springfield.

The new feature to the already popular Simpsons area of Universal Studios will bring the hometown of Bart, Lisa, Marge and Homer to life.

Park-goers will have the opportunity to go to Lard Lad Donuts, eat a Krusty Burger and enjoy a Duff Beer, which is exclusively brewed at Universal Orlando.

Folks can also enjoy a "taco-fresho" at Bumblebee Man's Taco Truck and drink at Homer's favorite bar, Moe's Tavern.

The new spinning ride coming to Springfield is called Kang & Kodos Twirl 'n Hurl, which isn't ready to open just yet.

Springfield opens just a month after Universal revealed Transformers The Ride, which is a clear sign that Orlando's theme park wars are in full effect.

Just across the water from Springfield is an even bigger attraction is taking shape: A whole new land based on Harry Potter's London is expected to open by next summer.

If you want to go to the park, it isn't cheap. A one-day, one-park ticket will cost you $98 plus tax.
