Man shot in neck during armed robbery near OIA, deputies say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was shot in the neck during an armed robbery Thursday at a hotel near Orlando International Airport, officials said.

The shooting was reported at the Clarion hotel at 3855 McCoy Road.

The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

Orange County sheriff's deputies said the shooting appeared to be drug-related.

No other details have been released.
