VIDEO: Florida man streams dangerous beach ride on Facebook Live

CLEARWATER, Fla. – A man who used Facebook to livestream himself drinking and driving recklessly on a Florida beach was arrested on numerous charges Thursday.

Ryan Stiles, 27, was charged with DUI, reckless driving, hit and run with property damage and three other charges for the incident at Caladesi Beach near Clearwater.

Stiles drove over beach chairs and umbrellas, all while drinking and yelling comments on Facebook Live such as, "We're gonna die!"

Many people who saw the livestream on Facebook called 911 to alert police, including one person from California, according to WFLA.

Following a nine minute chase, police were able to catch up to Stiles and he was taken into custody.

Once booked in jail, Stiles shattered a glass door in a holding cell by swinging his belt.
