Window shot out at office in Daytona Beach

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Video released in connection with a shooting at the Volusia Republican headquarters shows a car driving through the parking lot with its headlights off around the time of the shooting.

South Daytona Police Department officials released the video Tuesday in hopes that someone would recognize the vehicle in question.

At least four shots were fired at the office on South Nova Road in Daytona Beach, shattering a front window and leaving bullet holes in another window and a wall.

The shooting happened sometime between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning, according to authorities. The surveillance video of the vehicle was recorded at 1:30 a.m. Monday.

No one was injured.

Officers from the South Daytona Police Department will patrol both the Republican and Democratic Party headquarters until after Election Day.
