A Montana woman was awarded $50,000 from a court after she said a mortuary cremated her husband against his wishes.

KECI reports Enid Yeager says she was pushed into cremation because her husband's casket would be more costly due to its larger size. Miser Mortuaries attorneys argued the mortician merely recommended cremation because the man couldn't have an open casket funeral.

Yeager was seeking $1 million in damages, but jurors found both the mortuary and Yeager partially liable.
