Winter storm prompts local flight cancellations

Mid-Atlantic states could see as much as a foot of snow

ORLANDO, Fla. - Another blast of of winter is moving across the country, dumping as much as a foot of snow by the end of the day in some Mid-Atlantic states.

Airlines have cancelled thousands of flights already Monday because of the winter wallop. 

So far, 12 flights out of Orlando International Airport have been cancelled Monday. Many of the flights connected to cities like Baltimore, Chicago, and Richmond.

On Sunday, 22 flights were cancelled at Orlando International.
