ORLANDO, Fla. - An 84-year-old Leesburg woman who lost her right arm in an alligator attack remains in critical condition, according to officials.

Meanwhile, Hill said the gator involved in the attack was captured and killed, although no human body parts were found in the alligator's stomach.

Hill said the 7-foot-5-inch alligator was the same size they were looking for, and it had no fear of humans.

Hough lost her right arm between the elbow and shoulder.

It's not clear why Hough was in the water, and a neighbor rescued her and called 911.

Experts tell Local 6 the time of year influences alligator's attitude.
