Lady Lake considering doggie dining ordinance

Measure would allow pets to eat on patio of certain restaurants

LADY LAKE, Fla. – Another Central Florida city is considering letting pet owners dine with their dogs at restaurants.

Commissioners in Lady Lake will discuss a proposal Monday that would create an ordinance allowing people to eat with their dogs on the patios of certain restaurants.

Businesses wanting to take part in "doggie dining" would need to apply for a permit. 

Monday's city council meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m.
