Magic acquire Brandon Jennings, Ersan Ilyasova

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Magic have traded Tobias Harris to the Detroit Pistons for Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova.

Jennings is averaging 6.8 points and 3 assists per game this season. He had been with Detroit (27-27) since 2013 after four seasons with Milwaukee.

Ilyasova is averaging 11.3 points and 5.4 rebounds in 52 starts this year. His contract for next season is nonguranteed at $8.4 million.

Jennings and Illyasova played for Skiles when he was the coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Harris, 23, is averaging 13.7 points and 7.0 rebounds this season. He signed a four-year, $64 million deal last year.

“Brandon (Jennings) and Ersan (Ilyasova) are two veterans that will help balance our roster and provide valuable experience to our team,” Magic GM Rob Hennigan said. “Both players bring scoring, competitiveness and added depth to our roster.  We want to thank Tobias (Harris) for his contributions, both on and off the court.”

It's not known if the Magic (23-29) will be involved in other deals before Thursday's NBA trade deadline.
