60K fans cheer on Orlando City Soccer

ORLANDO, Fla. – ​More than 60,000 fans cheered on Orlando City versus Real Salt Lake on Sunday afternoon.

The game ended with a 2-2 tie.

"I'm a season ticket holder, so I wanted to rep my team, and we needed to fill the bowl!" said Adrian Brumby.

Thousand of fans sported their Purple OCSC apparel, welcoming the team into their second season in the MLS.

"I feel like we will win a lot more games than last season and the new player we are having. Way to go, Orlando City!" said Norma Castillo.

With security present at the game, including searches inside bag entering the stadium, parents said it was a family friendly environment.

"It was great. It was a great experience. He had a ball out there. Plus the merchandising and everything with the stadium. It's great you know," said Mike Rhine.

Orlando City is set to take on Chicago Fire Friday at 7 p.m.
