Dale Earnhardt Jr. to donate brain for concussion research

NASCAR driver suffered 2 concussions in 2012

ORLANDO, Fla. – NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr. wants to donate his brain for science.

The popular driver said he decided to make the donation to help continue research into concussions.

Earnhardt suffered two concussions in 2012 that caused him to miss two races.

NASCAR instituted mandatory baseline concussion testing for drivers in 2014.
