4 Jaguars selected to 2018 NFL Pro Bowl

Calais Campbell, Malik Jackson, A.J. Bouye and Jalen Ramsey headed to Orlando

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars are having their best season in a decade and they’re finally starting to get some notice outside of Jacksonville. On Tuesday the team had defensive end Calais Campbell, defensive tackle Malik Jackson and cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye all named to the NFL Pro Bowl.

The Jaguars' 4 Pro Bowl selections are their most in a season since '99 (seven) and the 3rd-most in franchise history.

This is the first Pro Bowl selection for Jackson, Ramsey and Bouye. For Campbell this is his third time (2014, 2015 and 2017) being a Pro Bowler.

How they got here:

-Campbell is having a career season in his first year in Jacksonville. He already holds the franchise record for sacks in a season (14.5) and sacks in a game (4). He joins Tony Brackens (1999) as only Jaguars defensive ends to make the Pro Bowl.

-Through 14 games Jackson has career-high 8 sacks this season, the third-most in the NFL by a defensive tackle.

-The combination of Ramsey and Bouye has proven to be one of if not the top duo of cornerbacks in the NFL. Bouye’s six interceptions rank 2nd in the NFL. Ramsey has four interceptions and his 17 passes defended rank 4th in the NFL.

The Pro Bowl will be held on Jan. 28 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
