UCF v. Memphis championship game day timeline

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Central Florida football team faces off Saturday against the Memphis Tigers for the American Athletic Conference Championship Game.

A local business, Global Promo, and the UCF Student Government Association donated 40,000 leis for the game to show support for injured starting quarterback Mackenzie Milton, who is from Hawaii. Global Promo, the UCF Student Government Association and UCF Athletics will hand out the colorful leis before the game.

Milton suffered a severe leg injury during last week's game against the University of South Florida and won't be joining his teammates on the field this week. Members of the Knights coaching staff say he has been helping prepare for the championship game by Facetiming into meetings and talking to his teammates.

Tailgating lots open at 9:30 a.m.

All gates open at 2 p.m.

Pre-game show starts at 3:16 p.m.

Kickoff at Spectrum Stadium is at 3:30 p.m.

This week's UCF fan color is black.

Last season, UCF defeated Memphis in the AAC Championship Game, winning 62-55 in overtime.
