Green Wave, Ragin' Cajuns coming for 4th annual Cure Bowl

ORLANDO, Fla. – It is a bowl game with a greater purpose.

The Autonation Cure Bowl will celebrate its fourth anniversary Saturday, Dec. 15, at Camping World Stadium when the Tulane Green Wave kick off against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at 1:30 p.m.

Benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and crucial, ground-breaking research being done at UCF, the Cure Bowl has raised over $3 million in the last three years to aid in the fight against cancer.

The game kicks off the entire bowl season and this edition features a "Battle of the Bayou," so to speak. Tulane and Louisiana have a rivalry that dates back decades. News 6 Sports Director Jamie Seh sat down with Cure Bowl Executive Director Alan Gooch to talk about what the bowl game means for the teams.

Ticket prices start at $25 and can be purchased at www.curebowl.com.
