TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State Seminoles will play against the Alabama State Hornets for the first time at noon on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Florida State is 5-5 this year and ASU is 5-4 on the season.

If FSU beats the Hornets, the Seminoles will become bowl eligible.

In FSU’s last game, the Seminoles beat the Boston College Eagles 38-31.

At one point in the first half the Seminoles were losing 14-3.

Florida State would score three straight touchdowns and would not lose the lead the rest of the way.

Two plays Florida State fans will be talking about the rest of the season were the touchdown runs from Jordan Travis.

Travis ran for a 26-yard touchdown in the third quarter and he ran for a 66-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

This past Saturday was the first time Travis took a snap with Florida State.

In the last game for Alabama State, the Hornets beat Texas Southern 27-21.
