Price Hikes and Cuts

A few quick updates today -- on saving money and where you'll spend more.

First -- the savings. With the kids back in school, Wet 'n Wild Orlando is offering Florida residents half-price admission through the end of the year.
That would mean $27.50 per person plus tax instead of $55.  You must buy online, and each Florida ID can buy up to 6 tickets. Here's a link to the special web page.

Now to Disney -- As demolition continues to transform Downtown Disney into Disney Springs, you'll no longer be able to spend any money at Cap'n Jack's. The Disney-owned waterfront restaurant had its last day of operation Saturday. It was one of the last gasps of the original Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village. Cap'n Jack's opened there back in 1975 -- along with the adjacent marina. The marina will also eventually move before Disney Springs is complete in 2016.

Finally -- tip of the hat to the ever-reliable WDWMagic.com-- which is reporting Disney has hiked prices on soft drinks, orange juice, coffee and tea by 10-20 cents. Not a huge hike - but it adds up. Heres' a link to their article on the price hike.

Keep your emails, questions, and comments coming! I always appreciate the feedback.

See you in the parks!
