Report: 'Avatar Land' at Disney's Animal Kingdom delayed

James Cameron has creative differences with Disney

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Work on "Pandora: The World of Avatar" at Disney's Animal Kingdom is being delayed, according to a new report.

Entertainment website IGN reports that work has stalled on the two sequels to the 2009 science fiction film. The delay could carry over to the project to build an "Avatar land" at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

The movie's creator, James Cameron, is having creative differences with Disney's Imagineer development team, the website reports.

It is still unclear when production on "Avatar 2" and "Avatar 3" will begin, and no release dates have been announced.
