ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Magic and 2017 second round draft pick Wesley Iwundu have reached a deal according to a team press release.
Although the team did not release official contract details per team policy, reports show that the former Kansas State star would stay in Orlando for three years for $4.1 million.

Reported by Orlando Sentinel reporter Josh Robbins late Monday night, the Magic will have a team option for the third year.
For his three years, Iwundu will earn approximately $1.05 million his rookie season, $1,378,242 his sophomore season, and $1,618,520 his third year if the team decides to keep him, according to Iwundu's agent Austin Watson.
Wesley Iwundu's 3-year, $4.1 million deal with the Magic includes a team option for the 3rd year, WI's agent, Austin Walton, said.

At 6 feet 7 inches, Iwundu was drafted with the No. 33 pick in the 2017 draft. Playing in all five of the Magic's summer league games, Iwundu averaged 5.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 22 minutes per game.
While at Kansas State, Iwundu spent four seasons playing a total of 132 games, averaging 28.2 minutes and 9.5 points per game. In his best season, Iwundu spent his senior year accumulating 13 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 31.4 minutes per game. He made 32 out of 85 shots from beyond the arc and recorded a .481 field goal percentage.
