ORLANDO, Fla – Orlando City Soccer Club is helping a group in need, and by extension, giving team captain, Kaka's, final game an even larger meaning.

As the team played their last official league game on Sunday, and did not make the MLS playoffs this year, this friendly will be its last match of the year, and will also serve as Kaka's last time playing in Orlando City's purple and gold.

On the friendly, President of the Puerto Rican Soccer Federation Eric Labrador said, "Our players and staff are very excited to be part of this historic match. We understand that not only could it raise money to help people that need it the most, but using soccer, we can unite all Puerto Ricans on and off the island."

Kaka himself said of the friendly, "This is a great opportunity for us to come together one last time as a team and play a game that means something special to so many people in this community. I’m proud to represent Orlando. I will wear my jersey one more time in this stadium, and for this city I have been lucky to call home for three years, to bring awareness to the situation happening in Puerto Rico.”

No word is available as far as whether there will be any streams available for fans to watch away from Orlando City Stadium.

The United for Puerto Rico Initiative is raising funds to aid recovery efforts for the island following the hurricane devastation.

Tickets for the match can be purchased at ticketmaster.com or by calling (855) ORL-CITY.
