ORLANDO, Fla. – While Orlando City's leading scorer Cyle Larin plays with the Canadian National Team in the Gold Cup quarterfinals, the Lions will be facing off against Atlanta United for the first time ever, missing a key piece of their lineup.

The Lions will have to look toward other players for production during Friday's game, including players such as Orlando City's second highest goal scorer, Carlos Rivas.

Scoring four goals and generating five assists, Rivas will be a crucial factor in a matchup that could move the Lions up a peg or two in MLS standings.

But Rivas isn't the only weapon the Lions can turn to, as recently named MLS All-Star Kaká has three goals and four assists.

With a strategy focusing its manpower on the attack, Atlanta will be a tough opponent for Orlando City, lying one spot above the Lions in the standings.

“Atlanta’s an extremely dangerous, dynamic attacking team. Some really, really good options. Their four players that play the highest up the field for them are very dangerous, very attack-oriented, very aggressive group,” Lions head coach Jason Kreis said in an Orlando City article. “But they are not perfect. They have some problems of their own, which we will be looking to exploit."
