UCF Men's basketball to face Nebraska in AdvoCare Invitational

Knights to play in 12th annual tournament Nov. 23

ORLANDO, Fla. – The 12th annual AdvoCare Invitational will kick off Nov. 23 with the University of Central Florida men's basketball team set to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers at 6 p.m.

Set to air on ESPN3, the Knights, led by second year head coach Johnny Dawkins, will battle the Cornhuskers for the first time in program history.

The winner of the game taking place at the HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports will then head to take on either 2016 NCAA Sweet 16 participant Marist or West Virginia.

UCF's second game will take place on Nov. 24 with the winners bracket game scheduled for 5 p.m., while the consolation bracket game is set for 7:30 p.m.

Throughout the tournament, teams such as Oregon State, St. John's, Missouri and Long Beach State will make appearances.

Over the three-day tournament, 12 games will be played with teams advancing further with a victory. The two remaining undefeated teams will battle it out in the tournament championship game Nov. 26 at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
