ORLANDO, Fla. - After the Knights extended their winning streak Saturday night, the University of Central Florida has officially earned its highest ranking of the season in The Associated Press' college football poll.

The Knights are tied with Louisiana State University for No. 8, a jump from the team's spot at No. 11 last week.

UCF's win over the University of Cincinnati Bearcats marked the team's 23rd win of their undefeated season.
