Virginia tops AP Top 25 poll again

Xavier, Villanova swap spots at Nos. 3, 4 Antony

The top five teams in this week's AP Top 25 didn't change, but Xavier did jump over Big East rivals Villanova.

The Musketeers rose to a program high No. 3 after beating Georgetown 89-77 on the road in their only game last week.

Villanova now sits at No. 4 after beating DePaul 93-62 at home and losing to Creighton 89-83 on the road last week.

The Virginia Cavaliers, who have won their third ACC title in five years, remain on top of the poll, gaining six votes from a week ago for a total of 48 first-place votes.

Michigan State, which clinched the Big Ten title this weekend, received 17 first-place votes and sits at No. 2 in the poll, while Duke rounds out the top five.
