Sloth bites staff member at Orlando elementary school

ORLANDO, Fla. – A sloth bit a staff member Tuesday at an Orlando elementary school, according to Orange County Public Schools.

The incident happened at Camelot Elementary School.

OCPS said the sloth was at the school as part of a learning opportunity.

A school secretary suffered a minor injury and was treated, school officials said. It's not known which part of her body was bitten.

There were no other injuries.

OCPS said all safety procedures were followed.
