Nadeen Yanes

Reporter

Nadeen Yanes joined the News 6 team in March 2016.

The Central Florida girl grew up in Leesburg, Florida. She cheered for the Gators while at the University of Florida, and continues to love all things orange and blue! Go Gators! In fact, she started working at the college station at WUFT-TV, and WRUF (850am) while still in school. Nadeen then jumped headfirst into her broadcast career reporting on-air at the ABC affiliate WCJB-TV in Gainesville. She has been a TV junkie her whole life. It’s no wonder she grew up to be a journalist and breaking news reporter.

Nadeen comes to us, most recently, from Norfolk, VA where she was a news reporter for WTKR, News Channel 3. She lived in Virginia for the four years reporting both in Richmond and Norfolk. She feels blessed to return to her hometown and be able to give back.

Nadeen’s lighthearted interview style and fun loving-personality makes all of her stories witty, refreshing, and completely original.
