LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – A broken toothbrush led to the arrest of a tourist visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

The incident began Monday when staff at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge delivered the wrong luggage to the room of Setia Kurniawan and his wife Vonni Gustimego.

The Orlando Sentinel reports the bags were supposed to be delivered to the room next door to the couple.

Upon realizing the mistake, a member of the hotel staff attempted to retrieve the luggage but was blocked by the couple until they were compensated for a broken Hello Kitty toothbrush.

Kurniawan, 49, and Gustimego, 44, both from Australia, locked their room and refused to release the 14 bags of luggage until they received compensation for the toothbrush.

It's unknown how the toothbrush was damaged.

The hotel manager told the newspaper that the couple was "aggressive" and "confrontational when she contacted them about the mishap."

Law enforcement arrived at the hotel room after midnight and knocked on the door for 10 minutes, warning the couple they could be arrested if the luggage was not released.

Gustimego eventually opened the door and began yelling at the officers.  Kurniawan was wrestled to the ground after he lunged towards a deputy.

During the confrontation, a hotel security officer was bitten on the ear by Gustimego.

Kurniawan was arrested on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, grand theft and resisting an officer without violence.

Gustimego was released in order to care for the couple's children at the hotel.
