Lawsuit unveils possible plans for Wet 'N Wild

Site may be redeveloped for hotels

ORLANDO, Fla. – News 6 investigators have uncovered a potential clue about what may happen to Wet 'N Wild when it closes its doors for good on Dec. 31.

According to a lawsuit involving Universal and Orange County, Universal plans to demolish Central Florida's oldest water park the day after it closes.

However, Universal claims in the court records that it has not finalized its future plans.

"Based on preliminary plans the property will be redeveloped for hotel uses," the lawsuit claims.
