ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney’s Hollywood Studios will live stream a performance of “The Music of Pixar Live! A Symphony of Characters" Thursday night online.

The show is part of a summer concert series from the Pixar Animation Studios, according to the Disney Parks blog. A live symphony orchestra plays scores from some of Pixar’s best known stories, including “Finding Nemo,” “Toy Story” and “Cars.”

“Guests will gain a new understanding of why these beloved songs have the ability to spark memories and whisk movie-goers through a roller coaster of emotions,” according to Disney’s website.

Pixar director Pete Doctor said he hopes the music experience will remind people what they love about the movies.

People can watch online in this story or on the Disney Parks blog starting at 7:55 p.m. Before the musical starts, Disney will take online viewers behind the scenes, editorial content director Thomas Smith said.

The live stream is an effort to promote the show, which debuted a few weeks ago.

Guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios can see the show in person all summer long every night at 5, 6:45 and 8 p.m.
