ORLANDO, Fla. – Walt Disney World's Marathon weekend wrapped up early Sunday morning with the Walt Disney World Marathon.
Fredison Costa, from Brazil, came from behind to win this year's event. This is Costa's third Walt Disney World Marathon victory.

Costa trailed race leader Alfredo Aravelo, from Guatemala, by 50 seconds at the 20 mile mark. He erased the deficit and finished the 26.2 mile race in 2:21:37, one minute 15 seconds ahead of fellow Brazilian Adriano Bastos.
Three male runners from Florida finished in the top ten:
- 4. Ben Payne, Ft. Walton Beach, 2:26:00
- 5. Matt Hensely. Port St. Lucie, 2:26:37
- 7. Ronnie Holassie, Miramar, 2:36:53
Angela Brito from Ecuador was the top female finisher with a time of 2:47:42.
Three Florida runners finished in the top ten for females:
- 3. Julie Northrup, Jacksonville, 2:59:07
- 9. Bo Franz, Miami Shores, 3:11:24
- 10. Christie Brodhead, Winter Park, 3:13:01
