Disney changes minimum age required to enter park

Guests under 14-years-old won't be allowed in alone, officials say

Disney World is changing the minimum age requirement for kids entering the park alone.

Starting March 23, all guests under the age of 14 now have to be accompanied by a guest who is at least 14-years-old. The current age requirements varies for the different parks.

The change includes admission at all Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort parks.

Florida parks included in the change are Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom, both water parks-Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach-and DisneyQuest.
