NEW YORK – Popular Disney characters -- like Minnie and Mickey -- have slimmed down for a new animated short to promote a new holiday product line with Barneys New York.
The "Electric Holiday" line and cartoon were unveiled Wednesday night at the fashion company's signature New York store. The animated short will play on televisions set up in the windows along Madison Avenue.

In the cartoon, Minnie sees a lovely red dress and dreams of becoming a fashion model in Paris. Celebrities like Lady Gaga and Sarah Jessica Parker line the stage as Minnie, Mickey, Daisy Duck and Goofy strut their stuff down the aisle.

The new partnership between Disney and Barneys New York features gifts and collectibles for the holidays. Products include:

- Diaries
- iPhone Cases
- Chocolates
- "Vinylmation" Figures
The "Electric Holiday" animated short will remain in the Madison Avenue windows through the holiday season.
