NTSB pushes for lower blood-alcohol level for drivers

Agency hopes move will fight drunken driving

Members of the National Transportation Safety Board are asking states to lower the legal blood-alcohol limit.

The change would lower the legal limit from .08 to .05.

The NTSB says the move would help reduce alcohol-related crashes.

According to the NTSB, In the last 15 years one-third of all highway deaths involved alcohol.
