MIAMI – A garbage truck fell off an elevated highway and landed in a Miami park late Monday afternoon.
The truck crashed through the guardrail on the Seventh Street exit ramp to Interstate 95 and landed in the parking lot of Jose Marti Park.

Sky 10 was above the crash scene. Debris could be seen strewn about the park.
Miami Department of Fire-Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll said the truck fell about 100 feet to the ground.
The driver was ejected and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in serious condition.
Jose Marti Park was open at the time, but no other injuries were reported.
