Seasonal gas prices at lowest point since 2004

Motorists saving 60 to 70 cents per gallon compared to same time last year

ORLANDO, Fla. – A milestone at the gas pump.

According to AAA, drivers are enjoying the lowest gas prices during this time of year since 2004.

Experts also estimate motorists are saving 60-70 cents for every gallon of gasoline, compared to this time last year.

However, a change could be on the way. AAA says gas prices have risen for the past three days due to an increase in the cost of oil.

Right now, the national average for a regular gallon of gas is $1.75, which is 4 cents higher than last week and 64 cents lower than this same last year.

In Florida, drivers are paying a bit less. The state average for a gallon of regular gas is $1.74.
