1 dead in crash with bus in Orlando

Car slams into rear of bus, strikes 2nd vehicle, FHP says

ORLANDO, Fla. – A driver was killed late Tuesday night in a three-vehicle crash involving a bus in Orlando, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said Javier Trinidad, 28, of Orlando, died in the crash, which happened around 10:40 p.m. on John Young Parkway at State Road 417.

According to the FHP, Trinidad was driving a 2013 Nissan Sentra southbound when he rear-ended the bus for an unknown reason.

Trinidad's car then struck an Audi, the FHP said.

Trinidad was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center, where he died, the FHP said. 

The drivers of the bus and Audi were not injured.

John Young Parkway was closed in the area for hours as authorities investigated the crash.
