Motorcyclist killed in Orange County crash ID'd

FHP investigates fatal wreck

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 24-year-old motorcyclist died early Monday in a crash in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Troopers say Landon Meyers, of Lake Wales, died in the crash, which occurred around 1 a.m. at State Road 528 and I-4, the FHP said.

According to the FHP, Meyers was driving a 2015 Honda motorcycle westbound on S.R. 528 to the I-4 west exit ramp when he lost control of the bike and struck a concrete barrier wall.

Meyers was ejected from the bike and died at the scene, troopers said.

The crash remains under investigation.
